Contract description:

The aim of this contract is to ensure that the public investments in the metropolitan areas are carried out in a fast and cost effective manner with better service provision and that the institutions operating in this area act in cooperation and coordination and increase the administrative capacity required for the proper implementation of EU legislation and regulations in Turkey.

The Contractor will support the Departments of Investment Monitoring and Coordination (DIMCs) in terms of:

  1. increasing the capacity of DIMCs;
  2. enhancing the cooperation and coordination between relevant institutions.

The Contractor will provide services such as personnel needs analysis, training needs analysis, process and workflow analyses, preparation of a guideline,  preparation of a software to transfer the work processes to the electronic system, preparation of legislative amendments as well as capacity building activities such as trainings, workshops, study visits and information meetings.

Contract description:

The project will contribute to the improvement of the administration of justice and to a more effective justice sector reform in line with EU and international standards. The purpose of this project is to provide improvement of independence, accountability, efficiency and competence of the judiciary and prosecution. Moreover, project’s purpose is also to strengthen the capacities of the relevant justice sector stakeholders, with special focus on the Judicial Council, Council of Public Prosecutors, Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors, Supreme Court, Public Prosecution Office, and Ministry of Justice as well as to implement the ICT policy in the justice sector.

Title: Technical Assistance for Strengthening the Management Capacity of the DoEUI for the Second Implementation Period and Capacity Building for the End-Recipients

Contract description:

This Project will ensure development of expertise and improvement of institutional/organizational and human resource capacity of DoEUI and end-recipients along with the rational and effective planning and control of projects to be funded under ESOP.

Technical assistance will focus on organizational development: institutional capacity building of DoEUI and potential end-recipients; delivery of training courses, study and site visits, preparation/review of necessary programming documents, quality checking of procurement documents , revision of IPA Application packages (IPA Application Form, Feasibility Studies, Cost Benefit Analysis – CBA, , project documents etc.), design reports and drawings and day-to-day consultation/support to DoEUI activities within operational programmes.

Title: Design and Implementation of Final Exam and Matura at the end of Secondary Education

Contract description:

Improve the quality of the secondary education system in the Republic of Serbia by reviewing, updating and/or introducing national final examinations in order to contribute building a knowledge-based society.

This will be done through strengthening the capacities of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and other relevant national stakeholders (notably the Institute for Evaluating the Quality of Education, the Institute for Improvement of Education, the National Education Council, the Council for Vocational and Adult Education, the National Council for Higher Education – among others) and education institutions (faculties and schools), developing exam materials, promotion and piloting of final examinations at the end of the four-year and at the end of the three-year secondary education.

Award – TA in Support of the Areas of Civil Service Reform, Parliament and the Electoral Cycle in Sierra Leone

European Projects Management Ltd. has been awarded the EuropeAid project contract in Sierra Leone, in consortium with Hulla & Co Human Dynamics.

Project Title: Technical Assistance in Support of the Governance Sector in Sierra Leone in the Areas of Civil Service Reform, Parliament and the Electoral Cycle

Value of the Contract: 3 513 650 EUR

The purpose of this contract is to support the beneficiary country, Sierra Leone, with technical assistance to deliver on the following specific objectives of the 11th EDF Action Document “Support to the governance sector in Sierra Leone”:

  • Support to the electoral cycle: Consolidation of electoral and democratic reforms allowing for improved political dialogue, following elections foreseen for 2018.
  • Parliamentary Support: enhanced legislative process, institutional relevance and effectiveness of Parliament.
  • Civil Sector Reform: Civil Service institutional capacity is improved, human and financial resources of the civil service are improved and public service delivery enhanced.
  • Technical assistance will be carried out by a team of 4 long-term key-experts complemented by a pool of non-key and short-term experts operating in Freetown.
