Grants and Local Contributions Management Expert

For Facilitating the EU Accession process through Coordination and Engagement in Moldova (FACE) / EU Integration Support Project (EUISP) in Moldova, funded by GIZ.

EPM is building a consortium for this tender and recruiting a Grants and Local Contributions Management Expert to support the local contributions and small-scale support initiatives under the FACE and EUISP projects.

The expert provides operational, financial and coordination support for the implementation of local contributions and small-scale support schemes, ensuring effective, transparent and compliant management in line with project objectives and GIZ requirements. This includes supporting the conceptualisation and operationalisation of support mechanisms; managing, coordinating and following up on local contributions; guiding beneficiaries implementing supported initiatives; supporting administrative, financial and compliance processes; monitoring implementation progress; and facilitating communication and coordination with local beneficiaries, partner institutions and stakeholders.

Qualification requirements:

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Political Science, Governance, Public Administration or a related field
• English at B2 level and Romanian at C2 level or native
• 7 years of professional experience in the public sector or advising public institutions in project implementation, coordination, financial administration, cost estimation, budget drafting and reporting
• 3 years of specific experience managing, administering or coordinating grant schemes, local contributions or support initiatives involving financial support to third parties
• 7 years of professional experience in the Republic of Moldova
• 1 year of experience in development cooperation projects
