Facilitating the EU Accession process through Coordination and Engagement in Moldova (FACE) / EU Integration Support Project (EUISP)

In the context of the EU accession process, GIZ implements two complementary initiatives in the Republic of Moldova: the EU Integration Support Project (EUISP), financed by the German Federal Foreign Office, and Facilitating the EU Accession process through Coordination and Engagement in Moldova (FACE), financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). This consultancy tender covers the short-term expert pool serving both projects.

The assignment strengthens the capacities of national and local actors for EU accession and alignment: supporting legislative and policy approximation to the EU acquis, institutional and implementation gap analyses, negotiation preparation and benchmark fulfilment, strategic and operational planning, local governance capacity development, and structured cooperation and dialogue with civil society, diaspora and academia. It establishes a Short-Term Expert Pool (STEP) enabling flexible, demand-driven mobilisation of national and international expertise.
