Information we collect
When you use the contact form, EPM receives the name and email address you provide, your message, and any optional files you attach. Attachments may include a CV or project brief and must be PDF, DOC, or DOCX. Please include only information relevant to your enquiry or application.
Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website, may process technical request information such as your IP address, requested page, browser details, and request time to deliver and secure the site. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated submissions; Cloudflare may process browser and interaction signals for this verification. This website does not embed advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts.
How we use it
EPM uses submitted information to respond to enquiries, discuss potential cooperation, assess expert applications, contact you about relevant opportunities, and meet applicable legal or contractual obligations. The applicable legal basis depends on the interaction and may include taking steps you request before entering into an engagement, EPM’s legitimate interests in managing business enquiries and recruitment, or compliance with a legal obligation.
If you submit a CV for general consideration, EPM may keep it on file and contact you when a relevant opportunity arises, as described on the Work With Us page. You can ask EPM to remove your CV at any time, subject to any legal obligation to retain it.
Who receives your information
Form submissions and attachments are sent through Resend, EPM’s email delivery provider, to EPM at info@epm.lv. The email’s reply-to address is set to the email address you submit, so EPM can reply to you directly. Resend processes the message and attachments to provide email delivery; see Resend’s privacy policy.
EPM staff who handle enquiries and recruitment may access the information. For a specific expert application, EPM may share relevant professional information with the consortium or project client involved in assessing that application. EPM may also disclose information when required by law.
This website does not store form submissions in an application database. Messages and attachments may remain in EPM’s email records and in the service providers’ systems under their applicable retention practices. Cloudflare processes technical request information to host and protect the site; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare and Resend operate internationally, so information may be processed outside Latvia or the European Economic Area. Processing locations and transfer safeguards depend on the services and account regions in use. Contact EPM if you need information about the safeguards applicable to your data.
How long we keep it
EPM keeps enquiry messages for as long as needed to respond and manage the resulting business relationship. CVs may be retained while they remain relevant to current or future expert opportunities. Information may be kept longer where required for legal or contractual obligations. You can contact EPM to request access, correction, or deletion.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may ask EPM to provide access to your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its processing, or provide it in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. These requests do not affect processing that has already taken place or information EPM is required to retain.

Changes to this policy
EPM may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or its data-handling practices. The latest version will be published on this page with its update date.
