Qualifications and Skills:

Master’s degree or equivalent in education or directly related discipline (social and political sciences and humanities, public administration), or 5 years of relevant professional experience on top of the 8 years of general professional experience required. A PhD in the project related field in basic and upper secondary, general Pre-university education is an asset.

General Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 8, but preferably 10 years of professional experience in education sector in basic and upper secondary, general pre-University education.

Specific Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 3, but preferably 5 years of professional experience in the area of teacher recruitment and/or in-service teacher professional development in basic and upper secondary, general Pre-university education.
  • Experience as team leader in at least 3 projects18in the field of teacher and school director recruitment and/or their professional development in basic and upper secondary, general Pre-university education.

Project Title:

Support to basic and upper secondary education

Contract Description:

The service contract will contribute to strengthen the quality of basic and upper secondary education (grades 0-12) in Kosovo. The expected main results of this contract are a) accountable and effective management of education system at central, municipal and school level: the beneficiary institutions will be supported to implement reforms related to the recruitment of teachers, school directors as well as their professional development; b) effective quality assurance mechanism: the quality assurance functions at central, municipal and school level will be strengthened through a range of capacity building activities, including coaching responsible staff and c) improved legal, regulatory and procedural framework for the development of quality textbook. Beneficiary institutions will be assisted to review policies, legislation and regulatory framework for the textbook development in line with the new competence-based curriculum.

Project Title:

Sustainable Integration of Disadvantaged People to Labour Force in TRB1 Region

Location:

Turkey

Contract Description:

The objective of the contract is to increase the social inclusion of women and youth in poverty or at risk of poverty in the TRB1 Region through enhancing their access to labour market. To this aim, vocational and skill build-up trainings, professional career guidance and counselling services will be carried out to increase the employability of target groups. Trainings will be delivered to the staff of beneficiary and relevant public bodies. Technical visits to successful vocational training centers will be organized. An awareness-raising campaign aiming to change attitudes and promote diversity in the workplaces will be designed for the target groups including actions such as meetings, info seminars, conferences and publicity in target provinces. Scientific and technical studies regarding the employment of the target people and a social entrepreneurship model based on the needs of the TRB1 Region will be conducted.

Project Title:

Strengthening of an integrated strategic approach to increase the efficiency and productivity of IPA funds during the third period (2021-2027)

Contract Description:

The project will support ongoing policy and institutional reforms in Ukraine’s Agriculture and Rural Development (ARD) sector based on an approved strategic action plan and the Association Agreement between the EU and the government of Ukraine. The project will notably contribute to more inclusive, competitive growth-orientated agriculture that respects the environment, increases rural incomes and slows down rural-urban migration. The project will operate at central but also at decentralized government levels. At central level, the project will support the government to develop effective evidence-based policy analysis and monitoring, and further approximate Ukrainian legislation. At decentralised level, the project will assist Oblasts and Amalgamated Territorial communities (ATCs) to actually and efficiently implement national strategy/policy/institutional reforms linked to ARD through capacity building, technical assistance, training, information and advisory support.
