Education for Employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The overall objective is to produce human resources in line with labour market needs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The project increases the relevance of education for the labour market through career guidance development and the quality of qualifications in VET and higher education, and enhances the capacity of human resources at all levels of education.

Activities

• Analysis of career guidance in schools, universities and public employment services, a forecasting study, and establishment of career guidance centres
• Mapping of higher education study programmes, employer needs research, and development of occupational and qualifications standards
• Development of standards for assessing teachers’ work and new study programmes for in-service teacher training based on learning outcomes
• Specialised training on school mapping, curriculum development and external testing, plus training for teachers on entrepreneurial and digital key competences
