Technical Assistance to Support CISOP 2014-2020 Operations

The overall objective is to contribute to the absorption, administrative and institutional capacity of the Operating Structure and programme beneficiaries for the effective and efficient management and publicity of the Competitiveness and Innovation Sector Operational Programme (CISOP) 2014-2020 in Turkey.

Components

• Support to CISOP 2014-2020 operations, including on-the-job support, training and capacity building, support to final beneficiaries, internal control and the sector information system, and OP evaluation
• CISOP information and publicity, including promotion and image building, information activities, and dialogue and interaction

Activities

• On-the-job support to CISOP departments in programming, project selection, preparation, tendering, contracting and coordination
• Preparation of annual monitoring plans, quality assurance and ex-ante control support, and legal advice to project preparation and tendering
• Training of Operating Structure staff, five study visits, and a training programme for internal auditors
• Sustainability assessments, including review of the Rize Tea Research and Application Centre documents and legal and financial assessment of 21 revenue-generating projects
